The Beaches Library

Come visit The Beaches Library located in the Town Hall of Eastport. We are one of the few independent libraries in Newfoundland and Labrador, and we are operated by a wonderful group of volunteers.
All residents of the Eastport Peninsula can become members, although we encourage summer residents and regular visitors to the area to join.

Membership is free, but we do appreciate donations very much as we do not have an annual budget. All our funds come from fundraising, from donations and from a variety of events which we sponsor. One of these in an annual performance by the wonderful pianist, Averill Baker. Other supporters include the Beaches Heritage Centre, Winterset in Summer Literary Festival and the the Newfoundland Writers' Guild. If you would like to become a member, join our volunteer staff, or donate to our collection, do visit us. You will be pleased to browse our interesting collection.
